Building & Location
Fifth floor above Prati, steps from the Vatican
The Building at Viale Giulio Cesare 118
Unicorn House Vatican occupies the 5th floor of a quiet residential building at Viale Giulio Cesare 118. The building is a typical Prati structure: solid, well-maintained, and home to a mix of Roman families and long-term residents.
An elevator brings you to the 5th floor, where our guesthouse has two separate entrance doors. This layout means each guest enjoys complete privacy, making the experience feel more like renting a small apartment than staying in a traditional guesthouse.
The 5th floor setting offers a sense of elevation above the city's everyday rhythm while keeping you close to everything that makes Prati special.

Everyday Prati at Your Doorstep
Prati is one of Rome's most livable neighborhoods—a place where locals actually live, shop, and meet for coffee. You'll find family-run bakeries, neighborhood trattorias, corner bars serving morning cornetti, and small supermarkets for everyday needs.
It's less touristy than other areas near the Vatican, which means you get a sense of real Roman life while still being steps from major monuments. The streets are clean, the cafés are genuine, and everything you need is within a short walk.
